Fireflies 2012
We are happy to announce the spring edition of our Fireflies Festival of Music.
The Fireflies Festival of Music is a cultural experience where musicians from all over India and the world come and find a stage set under a banyan tree in an open air amphitheater, adjacent to a lake and away from the sodium trail of the city. Here, through music we celebrate the relationship of oneness between humans and the earth. This forms the bedrock of the festival ethos. Taking care to juxtapose the indigenous with the international, the established with the unheard of, and the jazz man with the tribal folk, the music is the soul of the festival.
From 2012 onward, the Fireflies Festival of Music will be held bi-annually. The second edition of the Fireflies Festival of Music 2012 will be held in November. The date will be announced nearer the event.

Important details:
1) In compliance with police regulations, the festival will now be between 12 noon and 10 p.m on Sunday, 19th of February.
2) Please note that tickets will be available at the venue only up to 6 PM in the evening as per order from the police.
3) Use of all drugs, intoxicants and other illegal substances are strictly prohibited as per the law.
